Awesome Virus Protection Tips – How to Test the Untrustworthy Websites Or Programs

The Internet contains a vast amount of information. But you need to remember the threats that come with it. Adware, spyware, viruses, worms, mouse trap, and other types of malware can infect your PC very quickly. There are people who get infected by malware every week.

If you’re a frequent user of the internet, you must be visiting hundreds of websites every month. So, how to know which websites contain malicious code and which are not? Sometimes, you might visits a website that seems legitimate and provide freeware downloads. But, how do you determine which programs are malicious?

Let’s say you found a website offering anti-spyware download and you immediately download it. What you didn’t know is that website is actually offering rogue anti-spyware for you to download.

After installing the rogue software, you immediately realize that it’s a malicious software and try to remove it. However, the software already installed worms, or trojan horses, or rootkit inside your PC without you knowing it and there is no way of removing it.

So, the question is, how you can visit a suspicious website, download the software offered, install it and after you found it’s a malware, remove all of it from your PC including the rootkit, or worms, or the trojan horse that it has installed? Or how do you remove any malicious software installed by the malicious websites into your system without your concern?

Use SandBoxie. It’s a software that creates a sandbox-like wall that isolates the programs you have installed and remove all of the malicious software components the moment you remove the software without infecting any other files or programs.

So, you can visit many websites and test many programs using SandBoxie and remove it the moment you realize it’s a malicious software. You can test various programs and websites by using this software.

Another software that I recommend is the McAfee Site Advisor. It’s a software that will advise you if the websites that you’re visiting contain:

1. Links to malicious websites. 2. Lots of pop-ups 3. Malicious software downloads 4. Spam emails.

By using these two software, you can rest assure that you can surf the internet happily and can avoid those malicious websites without worrying the effect.

However, it’s actually a wise move if you didn’t visit the malicious websites or install any suspicious software into your system. It’s better to prevent than cure.
